This Egyptian pendant is from the 1980s. It is made of 925 silver and features an oval domed pendant with an upper mother-of-pearl cabochon. The pendant is marked on the back with the Egyptian hallmark and assay marks for 92.5% pure silver. In raised silver calligraphy, the writing is the Islamic shahada in Arabic: لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله "There is no God but God and Muhammad is His prophet." The pendant is in good condition
